Passion for Life is a joint education initiative by Singapore General Hospital, National University Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Baxter Healthcare (Asia) Pte Ltd, aimed at assisting the Peritoneal Dialysis community strive towards helping patients remain motivated and passionate about their lives, despite being diagnosed with kidney failure.
The five hearts on the Passion for Life logo depicts the multi-dimensional approach comprising the Patient, Doctor, Nurse, Family and Counsellor, working in tandem for the best clinical outcome.
The tree trunk represents the corporate entity, Baxter, holding the tree and the hearts in a protective gesture to represent the fact that disease awareness, timely diagnosis, treatment, compliance and family support is essential to the spirit of living.
