Who can be treated by haemodialysis?

Most patients with kidney failure can be treated by haemodialysis. It must be possible to gain good access to a patient's bloodstream.Since patients on haemodialysis experience fairly dramatic changes in blood pressure and toxin levels, some patients with heart problems may not be ideally suited to haemodialysis. The doctor may then recommend another alternative i.e. Peritoneal Dialysis.
